Last updated October 28, 2026. The terms for playing Kingdom Island on the web and in the app. Parents: please read them with your child.

Agreeing to these terms

Kingdom Island is run by Venbit ("we", "us"). By making an account or playing, you agree to these terms, the rules and our privacy policy. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to agree to them for you.

Who can play

  • Anyone can play. Players under 13 need a parent's email address to sign up, and the parent can approve or decline the account.
  • Players under 13 always use Safe Chat.
  • Give your real birth month and year when you sign up. Safe Chat and other protections depend on it.

Your account

  • One login can hold up to five dragons. Your login is just for you: don't share your password, and don't sell, trade or give away an account.
  • Pick a dragon name that follows the rules. We can change or remove names that don't.
  • You're responsible for what happens on your account, so log out on shared computers.

The rules

Everyone on the island follows the Kingdom Island rules: be kind, keep chat clean, keep private information private, no dating, no cheating or hacking, and no pretending to be someone you're not. We check chat automatically and block messages that break the rules.

Coins and items

  • Silver, gold, clothes, card backgrounds and other items are part of the game. They have no value in real money and can't be sold, traded or exchanged outside the game.
  • We can change, rebalance or remove coins and items, for example to fix a bug or undo cheating.
  • Nothing in Kingdom Island costs real money today. If we ever sell something, such as a membership, the price and terms will be shown before anyone buys, and purchases in the app follow the App Store's rules.

The AI characters

For players 13 and up, an AI helps the island's characters reply in chat. Their replies are made up for the game. They can be silly or wrong, and they aren't advice. Don't share personal information with them; they're told never to ask for it.

Our content

Kingdom Island, its characters, art, music, logos and software belong to Venbit or the people who licensed them to us. You may download the wallpapers and coloring pages on this site for personal use. Please don't copy, sell or reuse the game or its content without our written permission.

When you chat or name a dragon, you let us show that content in the game so it works as a shared world.

Suspending or closing accounts

If an account breaks these terms or the rules, especially on purpose or more than once, we can warn the player, suspend the account or close it. You can stop playing and ask us to delete your account at any time.

Accounts from the original game

If you claim an account from the original Kingdom Island, it becomes a new account under these terms. Accounts that were permanently banned in the original game stay banned. Items from the original game come across as they were saved; we can't recover anything that wasn't.

The service

We work hard to keep Kingdom Island running, but it's provided as it is and as available. We may add, change or remove features, rooms and games, and there may be downtime for updates or problems. The web version is made for desktop browsers; on phones and tablets, please use the app.

  • To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the loss of virtual items, arising from use of Kingdom Island.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
  • If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell players in the game or by email.
