Hey guys,
Recently I came up with the idea of NPC's being able to help the players. Now, many games have done this, and I'm only suggesting it because it actually works. NPC's at the moment only talk, and give little info. Well, I was thinking that we could click them, and they could help new players out!
For example, you see Elmer the Elder in the harbor. You click on him, and you're given some options; FAQ, Help, and No thanks (in case accidentally clicked).
Then, let's say a player clicked "FAQ". They'd be advanced forward to some frequently asked questions. If their question isn't there, they click the arrow in the top right for more questions.
Now, let's say a player clicked "What is Gold?", Elmer would answer their question with a simple answer, giving them the info they need ^.^
What do you guys think? Comment and lemme know! I was thinking mainly all NPC's could have these, and they'd have specific questions pertaining to the room they're in, and mostly the same FAQ questions as everyone else.
