Hello I'm Tdsq, aka Mr.Penguinsunlimited, aka robbyk12 when playing videogames.
Anyhoo, I've been watching Kingdom Island(Then, Dragonplay) for quite a while, probably since 2007. i've seen the progress, the death, and revival of the game. I hope that it succeeds in the app store, I'm really looking forward to it.
If you ever need help I have a legal, valid version of flash cs5 (unlike most people who torrent and crack it). So you can just message me on here seeing that I'm fairly active.

How good are you with flash? Maybe someday we can do a fan spin off of the game and can publish it on the website?

Thanks liana. And also, I don't know a whole lot of coding, I know bits and pieces of AS2, little to none AS3. Although I'm decent at drawing and graphics type stuff. Although I'm not good at coding AS, I'm usually pretty good at editing out problems and stuff like that.I'm willing to learn AS3, have any sources for good tutorials?

I do not think that it is worth your time to learn AS considering HTML5 is most likely to replace Flash in the future. For someone that is experienced with programming, picking up AS wouldn't take that long. HTML5 is probably what Kingdom Island will run on for the web version.

You should probably learn Javascript (the language for HTML5). It's also a language you can use for Unity3D, which is a very popular 3D engine.

If you wanna create flash games but you're not really familiar with programming, I think the easiest way to do it is using http://www.stencyl.com/


But if you really want to learn ActionScript, most people will tell you to just google it. It's actually what I would do.
