I am remaking the Smithy in the new Kingdom Island art style. Here is part of the smithy:

I know, it's not much different from the original. I was just wondering if the style fits. If it fits, tell me! If not, tell me what to change so it does fit!

Nicely done! What it needs are more intricate details. That's what I've been working on with the new rooms. More shadow and light, and more character interaction. Think about what the room is for and what the player can do with it.

Love your new avy btw, nice!

Thank you so much! I will put more detail and shade in! And I will try to think of things for the characters to interact with.

And thanks: I really like my new avatar too. I think this ones a keeper :)

Okay I put some more shade in and cleaned it up a bit. Again, if there's anything I should change, don't be afraid to say it; I am open to any and all feedback.

I'm really envious of your speed with it comes to this stuff. It takes me forever to create anything.

Oh haha! I've been taking my time on this...I'm currently working on other projects! But thanks, my family says I do this really fast, too :)

Alex, it would be really nice to see a finished picture of a room so I can see the new style and compare it to mine. You could either post something on the forums or send it to me at:

Thanks!

I can't do that, Venbit had me sign a pretty detailed NDA...

What I am going to do though, is produce a sheet with certain elements that carry the style, that way every rock, every tree, etc has the same look. sort of like anime.. once you understand what something is supposed to look like, it is easier to mimic

We'll be launching a new blog for the website, so when we get one posted on there, feel free to work off it's style.
